Rebids Due August 4: Yadkin River Park Trailhead

Due to a lack of bidders the project is being re-bid on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 2:00pm. Please refer to the revised Notice to Bidders for additional details.

Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Yadkin River Park Trailhead, for the Town of Spencer, North Carolina will be received on or before 2:00 PM, on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in the Town Hall, 460 Salisbury Avenue, Spencer NC 28159.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM,  at the project site located along the north side of  HWY 70/ HWY 29 east of the intersection of HWY 70/29 and Fieldcrest Cannon Lane, Spencer, NC near the old Yadkin River Bridge (Wilcox Bridge) approach to the west side of the old bridge. Meet on the west side bridge approach in the open field. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.

The scope of work includes construction and or installation including project management, coordination, scheduling, staking & technical layout, site clearing and grubbing, selective demolition, erosion control, earthwork, storm sewer, concrete paving, decorative concrete, sidewalks, asphalt paving, pedestrian trail, permeable concrete pavers, retaining wall, guard rail, landscaping, site furnishings, and ancillary work illustrated in the contract documents.

Bidders shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their respective trades and will be required to comply with all applicable statutes and regulations and those attached to and made a part of the proposal.
