Public Hearings Set for September 8 Board of Aldermen Meeting

The Town of Spencer Board of Aldermen will hold three public hearings at the Spencer Town Hall located at 460 S. Salisbury Ave, Spencer, NC 28159 during their regular meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. to receive public input for the following:

  1. Proposed revisions to the Conditional Zoning conditions applied to the Automobile Restoration Business located at 200 S Salisbury Ave, Spencer, NC 28159. Current conditions include: Limitation on vehicle service & storage area(s), Hours of Operation, Site and Landscape Improvements, and Public Alley Closure. Click here for additional information.
  2. Proposed revisions to Section 10.1-39 and Table of Uses 8.1 of the Town’s Development Ordinance regulating the location of residential short-term rentals. Click here for additional information.
  3. Proposed revisions to Section 2.13-1 of the Town’s Development Ordinance regulating storage and accessory buildings. Click here for additional information.

All interested persons are invited to attend and participate in the meeting. In addition to speaking during the public hearing(s), the Town will also accept public comments by either (1) submitting written comments addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered to Town Hall, or (2) submit written comments via email to scraven@spencernc.gov.
