Rowan Creek Week is Sept 17-24

Creek Week is a week-long celebration of local waters throughout North Carolina. This year, Rowan Creek Week will be September 17th-24th. In conjunction with multiple organizations and local municipal departments, Creek Week offers recreational, educational, and volunteer opportunities to allow everyone to enjoy and contribute to healthy waters in our area.

There will be a nature hike on Monday, September 19 at Fred and Alice Stanback Educational Forest. In addition, several exciting events are coming to Spencer to close out Creek Week on Saturday, September 24.
