Town officials and staff call on residents to provide feedback
SPENCER – The Town of Spencer invites community members to join together as it takes stock of the last year and looks toward plans for 2024. Town staff and officials will hold a two-part Annual Planning Session on March 7 and 8.
The Town will host a community feedback session on March 7 after completing the agenda review portion of the regularly scheduled 5:30 p.m. pre-agenda meeting. The goal is to reflect on the past year to see which priorities selected during the 2023 community engagement session need to be changed, added, or removed. This will be a more informal affair than that held at the 2023 Annual Strategic Planning Session.
The meeting will recess until 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8. When the meeting reconvenes, the Town will explore the community feedback received the night before. Staff will provide a variety of presentations to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and engage the Board in discussion that helps prioritize and plan future goals and projects. The feedback received will provide a basis for the Town Manager’s FY25 budget recommendation in May.
