Help us spread holiday cheer through Angel Tree

Nov 19, 2024

SPENCER — The Town has received 10 Angels from the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.  These 10 angels represent three families that have reached out for Christmas assistance. It is our hope that the Town staff and citizens will choose to ‘adopt’ an angel and provide Christmas gifts as directed by the Salvation Army. Tags are available in the Town Hall office. We are helping make this county-wide program accessible to those interested here in Spencer and encourage participation in whatever charitable causes may be of interest.

  • All gifts must be new.
  • Gift wishes are only suggestions to help with shopping
  • There is no spending limit
  • Please try to provide at least 3 toys and clothing
  • Place toy/clothing items inside a bag and place the Angel tag inside the bag
  • Please return the gifts by December 6th, 2024 This ensures time to process each angel and make sure each child has something to open Christmas day
    • Gifts to be returned to 620 Bringle Ferry Rd Salisbury, NC 28144
  • REMEMBER that you are making someone’s Christmas Special!
  • Each Angel tag has the same information.

More information about the Angel Tree Program is available through the Salvation Army of Rowan County at 704-636-6491 or salisburyNC@uss.salvationarmy.org.

Additionally, the Spencer Fire Department is organizing an outstanding opportunity to help children this holiday season in partnership with our local school community.
