Spencer officials and staff invite community feedback at Annual Strategic Planning Session for FY 2026-2027 budget

SPENCER — The Town invites community members to join us at Town Hall on March 5 and 6 for the annual strategic planning session. A focused community engagement opportunity will take place at the end of the Thursday, March 5, 5:30 p.m. pre-agenda meeting to kick off the process.

Our elected officials are thinking about our most important opportunities and challenges for the coming years, what is most important for community investment. They are also considering alternative funding mechanisms that we should explore while planning for these priorities. This will start our discussion, and we encourage you to participate in a special public comment opportunity on Thursday evening on these topics. Friday, March 6, will be a full-day session where elected officials and staff will collaborate to learn about future challenges, opportunities, and priorities heading into FY27 budget development.

As always, the Pre-Agenda Meeting and both parts of the Planning Session are open to the public and will be live-streamed and archived on the Town’s YouTube channel.
