Community Appearance Commission to hold fourth annual Tea Party in the Garden Fundraiser for Spencer Community Garden
SPENCER — The Spencer Community Garden will host its fourth annual Tea Party in the Garden Fundraiser, continuing a popular spring tradition that brings the community together in support of ongoing garden improvements.
The event will feature an afternoon of tea service, themed hors d’oeuvres, and a relaxed garden setting. The Garden is once again partnering with The Spice & Tea Exchange of Kannapolis, which will provide a three-course tea service for attendees.
Since its inception, the Tea Party fundraiser has supported a variety of enhancements within the Spencer Community Garden. Past proceeds have contributed to projects such as the installation of the gazebo, picnic tables, the Community Blessing Box, and repairs to raised garden beds.
Attendees are encouraged to wear spring attire and hats, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.
Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children. Advance payment is not required. Guests may choose to make a free reservation online to assist with attendance planning, though reservations are optional. Admission will be collected at the event. Cash or checks payable to “Spencer Presbyterian Church” will be accepted.
All proceeds from the event will benefit continued improvements to the Spencer Community Garden.
