SPENCER — Official Parade Update: Spencer’s Holiday Caravan Parade Will Kick Off Tonight at 6:30 PM! Please be advised of the time change. While prior year parades have started earlier in the afternoon, this year’s parade has been reimagined as a nighttime parade of lights. The parade will start at North Rowan High School and travel down Salisbury Avenue from Jefferson Street to 11th Street. Downtown restaurants are staying open late to serve parade watchers. Public parking is available at the Transportation Museum. Downtown parking is limited. Salisbury Avenue will close from approximately 6:00 to 8:30 PM, so please plan accordingly. Follow the suggested detours, and do not drive around barricades.
