Proposals Due March 18: Audit Services

UPDATE: The originally published Audit RFP from February 12, 2025, contained a typographical error on page 12, which was corrected and posted below on February 14, 2025.

SPENCER — The Town of Spencer is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for audit services, which will be received on or before 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable statutes and regulations and those attached to and made a part of the proposal. The Finance Office will review the proposals and make a recommendation to the Board of Aldermen on April 8, 2025, at which time the contract will be awarded. Proposals can be submitted electronically to hkann@spencernc.gov or on paper by March 18, 2025. Envelopes containing proposals on paper should be clearly identified on the front with the words “RESPONSE TO RFP FOR AUDIT SERVICES.”

Please note:

  • Your email should include two separate PDF attachments for sections 1 and 2.
  • Envelopes should include three (3) copies of the bound proposal (clearly separating sections 1 and 2) and should be delivered to:
