Proposals Due March 18: Audit Services
UPDATE: The originally published Audit RFP from February 12, 2025, contained a typographical error on page 12, which was corrected and posted below on February 14, 2025.
SPENCER — The Town of Spencer is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for audit services, which will be received on or before 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Bidders will be required to comply with all applicable statutes and regulations and those attached to and made a part of the proposal. The Finance Office will review the proposals and make a recommendation to the Board of Aldermen on April 8, 2025, at which time the contract will be awarded. A PDF of the entire RFP can be read here.
Proposals can be submitted electronically to hkann@spencernc.gov or on paper by March 18, 2025. Envelopes containing proposals on paper should be clearly identified on the front with the words “RESPONSE TO RFP FOR AUDIT SERVICES.”

- Your email should include two separate PDF attachments for sections 1 and 2.
- Envelopes should include three (3) copies of the bound proposal (clearly separating sections 1 and 2) and should be delivered to:
