Join the Spencer Community Appearance Commission (CAC) for “Autumn in the Garden” a family-friendly Fall Fundraiser for Spencer’s Community Garden!

Seasonal Food & Drinks, Games, Pumpkin Decorating, Arts & Crafts, Raffle Prizes, Bake Sale, Plant-Swap, Halloween Photo-Ops, & More!

Time: Sunday, October 9, 2-5 PM

Location: Spencer Community Garden @ Corner of 2nd Street & Salisbury Ave.

Spencer’s Community Garden continued to grow at a healthy pace over the summer thanks to the incredible outpouring of community support, volunteer sign-ups, and donations following our successful Spring Fundraising campaign. It has been an incredible joy to see the garden grow and flourish with new garden beds, picnic tables, amenities, and amazing works of creativity and craftsmanship. Now, we wish to build on that momentum by setting an ambitious new goal: to raise enough funds to build a Community Pavilion or gazebo structure at the center of the garden, to serve as a true community gathering place and as a flexible venue to entertain, educate, and celebrate. The pavilion is an ambitious idea – but with a price tag to match. Therefore, we are once again turning to the community to help us turn this vision into a reality. We need your help!

Join us at our Fall Fundraiser for an afternoon of family-friendly fun! We will have seasonal food and drinks, games, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, raffle prizes, a bake sale, plant-swap, Halloween photo-ops, and more!! Items and food will be listed “for sale” (with a suggested donation).
