Yadkin River Trailhead Ribbon Cutting

The Town of Spencer will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Yadkin River Trailhead Park to the public at 10:00 a.m. on September 8, 2023.

2023 is the Year of the Trail in North Carolina, and Rowan County’s Creek Week begins on September 16th, with the Race to the River finish line at the Yadkin River Trailhead. This location has much historical significance and will continue to be a pivotal spot for recreation as the future starting point for the planned greenway.
