Spencer to dedicate Town Park during National Night Out 2025

SPENCER — The Town of Spencer will dedicate its new Town Park during the annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 470 S. Salisbury Avenue. The dedication ceremony will take place at 6:15 p.m.
The evening will feature live music from local band Motel Soap, public safety displays, family activities, and free food and drinks. National Night Out is designed to strengthen partnerships between residents and law enforcement while celebrating community.
This year’s event is supported by Food Lion, Hendrix BBQ-Spencer, Civic Federal Credit Union, KRM Carts, and Heather’s Homemades Spencer Deli. Free food will be provided by Whosoever Will Let Them Come Ministries, Fleming Street Bakery & Southern Cuisine, and Food Lion. Additional community partners include the Spencer Moose Lodge, North Carolina Transportation Museum, New Hope Baptist Church, The Terrie Hess Children’s Advocacy Center, Communities in Schools, Spencer Fire and Public Works Departments, and Novant Health. National Sponsors of National Night Out include ADT, Associa, Dollar Tree/Family Dollar, Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.), Nintendo, Starbucks, AT&T/Firstnet, and 7-Eleven Cares Foundation.
