Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds for CDBG-NR Program
SPENCER – Pursuant to 24 CFR Part 58, Sec. 58.70, the Town of Spencer hereby gives notice of its intent to request release of funds for Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Revitalization (CDBG-NR) funds. Public comments will be received until Tuesday, January 28, 2025, following the procedures established in the official notice. Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments to Anna Kanode Ward, Town Clerk, at Award@spencernc.gov or 704-633-2231. All comments received by Tuesday, January 28, 2025, will be considered by the Town of Spencer prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Please refer to the Town’s 2025 Holiday Schedule for information on closures.
